Johor Bahru

Johor Bahru is the capital city  for the Johor State.  This southernmost Malaysian city sits right next to the national boundary between Malaysia and Singapore where they are connected via the Causeway.  The city is an important industrial, tourism and commercial hub for southern Malaysia and one of the biggest industrial centers of the country.  The population growth rate of Johor Bahru is among the highest in Southeast Asia.  A land of diverse and distinct cultures, its population comprises mainly Malays, Chinese and Indians and cultural expressions can take many forms such as dresses, customs, beliefs, ceremonies, celebrations, dances, games and past times.

Sultan Abu Bakar State Mosque is build in year 1892-1900 which name under Sultan Abu Bakar,who is the King of Johor state.Design by Malaysian Architect Tuan Haji Mohamed Arif bin Punak. The idea plan structure influence by Anglohile sentiments.The building itself is basically mixture of English Victoria and Moorish style.You will find several building which in the same style.

Istana Besar

Istana Besar / Grand Palace is once the residential place of the Sultan of Johor. The architecture design is influence by Anlo-Malay .The blue rooftop which significant that Malays idea of art is merge into the design of this Istana Besar.However, the Istana have been shifted while currently it use for investitures , state banquets and royal functions.  Part of this Istana Besar, which use as Royal Museum. There are collection of Royal Heirloom, impression rare artifact and bronze , it is a good record of the history of the state royal family. The Istana Besar is now just refurbish from January 2012 to September 2012 , so there are some new feather which will bring impress for the visitors.

Arulmigu Sri Rajakaliamman Glass Temple can be claim as the world first glass made hindu temple .It was the oldest hindu temples in Johor Bahru. Mr Sri Sinathambly,who is currently temple charman also chief priest .He also known as Guru Bhagawan Sittar,who is the important person for the temple to this magnificent glass temple make complete.There are a lot of difficulties and challenging during the rebulit work progress, however this temple was  officially reopen in year 1996.

Sultan Ibrahim building was formerly state secretariat of Johor.It was build in year 1936-1939 complete in year 1940, where located at Bukit Timbalan in Johor Bahru,Malaysia.It was the tallest building in Malaya during pre-Merdeka era.It stood unchallenge until the completion of the Merlin Tower in 1970s.The building was used during Japanese Occupation by Japanese Imperial Army as a command center which operated for spy on the british activities in Singapore before they invasion to Singapore.

This is the first Sanri0 Hello Kitty Town attraction outside of Japan.  It consists of various interactive and walk-through activities, which follow the popular Hello Kitty theme. One of the highlights include Black Wonder, an interactive activity for both children and adults to save Hello Kitty and Dear Daniel, who has been kidnapped by Kuromi!
